The K.Y.N. Muay Thai Camp is located within the Lam Sai Village Hotel on the west sunset coast of Koh Yao Noi, between Phuket and Krabi.

Koh Yao Noi is a beautiful island, covering around 50 square kilometres, and is one of the last few in the region to avoid being overly developed.

The island is easily explored by scooter or by bicycle: scooters can be rented from the hotel, and a number of bicycles are available to hotel guests free of charge.

The island's residents retain a very traditional culture and so public drunkeness is frowned upon, however there are a large number of restaurants - both Thai and Western-style - which serve alcohol, and also quite a few bars; some of the restaurants and bars have free wifi.

Facilities and services available on the island include several Internet cafes, a bank, two ATMs, a 7-11, post office, police station, several pharmacies and a hospital. There is also mobile phone coverage throughout the island.

Leisure activities available on the island include boat trips, diving, kayaking, snorkelling, rock climbing - or visiting a spa for a luxurious Thai massage.

A taxi from Phuket International Airport to Bang Rong Pier should take around 20 minutes and cost no more than 500 Baht. A taxi from Patong takes approximately 30 minutes and is about 600 Baht.

FROM KRABI

All boats arrive at Manoh Pier on Koh Yao Noi.

A large number of the local tuk-tuks wait at the pier for each boat, so there should be no problem getting a taxi to the gym.
